DPOY Angel Reese Inks Deal To Return To Unrivaled

Unrivaled has officially announced that Angel Reese has re-signed with Rose BC for the remainder of the 2026 season, returning to the club she helped guide to the league’s inaugural championship in 2025. Reese is expected to be available on February 20, when Rose BC faces Hive BC coming out of the break.

The reigning DPOY had been initially expected to sit out Unrivaled’s second season following a heavy year of play, but her midseason return now fills Rose’s open roster spot after Aari McDonald’s season-ending injury, and a multi-team trade that reshaped the balance of the league.

Rose enters the stretch run at 5–6, holding fifth place with three games remaining and little margin for error in a tightly packed table.

On the floor, Reese’s impact is well established. She led Unrivaled in rebounding last season, averaging over 12 boards per game, while posting eight double-doubles and recording the league’s first 20-point, 20-rebound game (22 points, 21 rebounds) en route to Defensive Player of the Year honors. Her arrival gives Rose a proven defensive anchor and a dominant presence on the glass at a pivotal moment in a fairly tight playoff race.
