ANTA and Kyrie Irving have introduced the KAI 3 “KAI Mentality”, the newest addition to Irving’s signature line and centerpiece of the brand’s NBA All-Star Weekend Pack and activation in Los Angeles. The release continues Kyrie’s journey of merging high-performance design with a deeper reflection of mindset, artistry, and purpose.
The “KAI Mentality” colorway channels Irving’s approach to the game: focused, fearless, and grounded in discipline. Its layered design and contrasting materials represent clarity under pressure and the ability to rise above chaos—key elements of Kyrie’s playing style and philosophy.
Developed for elite-level competition, the KAI 3 combines lightweight responsiveness with multidirectional traction for total control. It’s built for quick cuts, balanced landings, and locked-in movement, reinforcing Kyrie’s emphasis on precision and creativity in motion. The KAI 3 continues to reflect the dual nature of Kyrie’s approach—technical performance fused with personal expression.
Complementing the on-court model is the Hélà Roots “KAI Mentality”, a lifestyle sneaker designed specifically for Irving. Its construction symbolizes spiritual and cultural connection, featuring a sole divided into four sections that represent foundational aspects of Kyrie’s worldview. The Hélà series continues ANTA’s intent to bridge athletic heritage with progressive design.
The NBA All-Star Weekend Pack includes:
-
KAI 3 “KAI Mentality”
-
Hélà Roots “KAI Mentality”

As part of the Los Angeles celebration, ANTA will host an exclusive in-store activation at its Beverly Hills flagship. From February 2 through February 14, customers who purchase any ANTA item will receive a Golden Ticket—redeemable for two passes to “Antaland,” a special ANTA x Kyrie Irving event at the Santa Monica Pier on February 15, during NBA All-Star Weekend.
The “KAI 3 Mentality” pays tribute to Kyrie’s mentors and traces his All-Star journey across cities like New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. It stands as a testament to his continued evolution as both athlete and artist—a reminder that performance begins in the mind long before the game begins.
