Lynx Outlast Sparks 91–82 Behind Big Second Half and Collier’s All-Around Game

The Minnesota Lynx secured a 91–82 victory over the LA Sparks on July 10, 2025.

The Lynx came out strong, taking an early 7–2 lead. However, the Sparks responded with a massive counterpunch, scoring 16 unanswered points to grab a commanding 18–7 lead.

The Sparks were led by Kelsey Plum, who recorded a double-double with 17 points and 12 assists. The two-time WNBA champion was once again getting it done on both ends of the floor.

But the Lynx rallied in the second half. Natisha Hiedeman provided a major spark off the bench, scoring 10 consecutive points to shift the momentum. MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier added another statement performance, finishing with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The Sparks continued to fight down the stretch, outscoring the Lynx 23–11 in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough, and they came up just short in the end.
