Dravid pointed out that India missed the services of senior players in the series, including Rohit Sharma who was injured. The former head coach admitted that the side put up a stiff fight against the Proteas but could not manage to win the series.

Dravid’s road to T20 World Cup glory

After 2015, Dravid was associated with the BCCI, having been the head coach for India’s U-19 and India A teams. He then become the director at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) before becoming the new head coach for India in 2021.
