Before I dive into my SB thoughts, I need to mention two things about the conference games:
The now 2-time MVP Lamar Jackson got swindled into playing Patrick Mahomes’ game. You can tell who’s been there (Niners) and who’s was acting to be there (Lions).
Here we are, 4 years later with a rematch of Super Bowl LIV. A few returning faces (Mahomes, Kielce, Aiyuk, Bosa) one on the opposite side this time (Charvarius Ward), all with the ultimate goal of leaving the desert with the trophy known as Lombardi.
As a Raiders fan, I have no dog in this race. I would like both teams to lose but unfortunately that’s not the case. What this game will come down to is the Niners offense vs the Chiefs defense.
Can Purdy really shut the haters up with an out of the world performance or will he fold and be remembered as Mr. Irrelevant?
On the other hand, that guy 15 is looking at a dynasty and a Super Bowl in his “worst” season with the Chiefs would be a huge “I’m Him” to everyone in the league. Big games, big moments calls on your best players and I expect Kelce to have a GAME!
That’ll lead to my best bets of the game but that’s at the end of the article.
Listen, this is the biggest game of the year, the biggest stage in the best city in the US? Don’t mind me, I’m a Canadian that loves Vegas. Kittle promised to be back and Mahomes has showed he belongs. The Niners were out a QB in the conference championship last year, the Chiefs have their foot on the league’s neck. As an avid football fan, I love it.
Enjoy the game, enjoy the food, enjoy drinks, enjoy the bets and enjoy this article hours before the game.
I’m out.
